Subject: A New Year to Grow

Happy New Year, Dear Gardener!

Thank you for being on this journey with us! We hope this finds you and yours well and safe and having enjoyed a wonderful holiday season!

We are well and working on garden plans and plants for 2021, and clearing out some of the old to make room for the new, indoors and out. We’ll also be steadily tweaking how best to share content with you this year.

We’re thinking to keep it short and simple, with a little information that may be of interest each week. You’ll see some changes as we experiment, and please never hesitate to let us know what you prefer and anything you like or don’t like.

Our goal is to serve you.

CRAZY TIMES

It’s definitely been a crazy year for the world! So many are struggling.

We’ve certainly had our share of setbacks to deal with. From hurricane Zeta storms causing limbs to fall and rupture our roof, knocking off facia and gutters, to trees that needed felling to prevent more falls on our house. Our cabin well went out, and a toilet almost fell through the floor at home (but no, no one was on it at the time)! So the half bath got remodeled (apparently installed wrong 30 years ago), and also an old HVAC system needed replacing. Whew!! A doozy of a year!

GRATITUDE

Yet, amidst it all, we count our blessings daily, for gratitude makes all the difference in the day.

We’re so grateful to have a patch of land to garden. Grateful to have fresh garden greens through much of the winter, and grateful to be able to grow microgreens indoors and starting seeds for an early spring garden.

AND... we're grateful for you!

5 High Protein Plants to Grow

Have you thought about growing high protein plants? You might find this interesting, especially if you have enough land for larger crops.

Wishing you a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR, beginning with a great week!
