Fortunately, across the world our program partners are proving to be innovative in continuing program activities and serving their communities: In Myanmar, they've been conducting business training and started new savings groups in a new diocese in the last few weeks, all while following social distancing and small group meeting guidelines. In South Sudan, a few weeks ago our partners trained new trainers in the new area where our program just launched a few months ago. In Bolivia, near where the pandemic is growing rapidly and hospitals are overflowing, our partners have taken this time in lockdown to develop new curriculum that can be used in shorter training opportunities.
Five Talents programs will also help communities to recover from the economic crisis caused by coronavirus restrictions, as the poor nations where we work have been hit especially hard, and our program participants will have new skills and the ability to improve their businesses as markets open up around the world.
