The deadline to apply for our Spring Youth Program is almost here! Our seasonal youth programs are open to all students in New London County grades 9-12! Upon completion of the program, students will receive a work-stipend, making this an opportunity to gain work experience as well. This Spring, we will be focusing on:
*Urban Farming 101: the basics of farming, gardening, growing, and harvesting food!
*Strengthening teamwork skills: how to work with others to achieve a common goal for our community
*Identity work: Who are you? What is your identity in New London and how does that connect to food? What does food sovereignty mean?
Applications are open until the 28th of March! After submitting, we will be in contact to set up an interview. All interviews will take place the week of March 28th, so look out for messages from us!
