Spring has finally arrived to our little coastal city, and we couldn't be happier! The snowdrops and crocuses are out in full force and longer days and milder weather have us itching to get out hands in the dirt. We've had a busy, busy month as we gear up for the growing season- we re-glazed the greenhouse at our Mercer St.; it's now home to dozens and dozens of seedlings, which our staff and youth crew have been starting over the past few weeks. We're building lots of raised beds, both for our ever-expanding snack bed project and to install at peoples' homes. And we have started signups for our community gardens, CSA, and more!
If you want to get involved, we'd love for you to join us! Volunteer work days start on Saturday, April 10, 10:00am-noon, just come on down to Mercer St. and lend a hand!
