This was our fifth-annual sale. We're so happy to have had the community's support for five years with the plant sale, and 10 years overall. Fifth-annual seedling sale a great success! Proceeds fund FRESH youth agriculture, leadership programs Even with plenty of competing events over Memorial Day weekend, well over 100 people turned out to our fifth-annual seedling sale last Saturday. Customers and supporters enjoyed time in the garden, met the talented youth who started the plants from seed, and took home seedlings to start their own gardens. FRESH is directing proceeds back into the community, through our youth leadership/agriculture enrichment programs, and our Mobile Market program, which brings produce harvested from our farm into New London neighborhoods for sale. Customers browse through our selection at the annual FRESH seedling sale on Saturday, May 24. SUPPORT Interested in supporting FRESH with a tax-deductible donation? Donation information is available on our website. Interested in visiting and volunteering at the farm? Open farm volunteer says are Saturdays, 8 a.m. to noon at Waterford Country School.
