Saturdays, 9-1pm, FRESH Urban Farm (Williams and Mercer)

Saturdays, 10-12:30, McDonald Park (Connecticut Avenue at McDonald Street)
HOW TO: Mid-Season Gardening Workshop 
New Date, Saturday 7/8 at 10am
Join us for this introduction to mid-season gardening techniques: How to prune tomatoes, structure your plots, water and mulch to retain moisture as it gets hotter out. 

Master Gardeners and FRESH volunteers Liz Spurr and Tim Grimes will run this workshop and provide participants with helpful literature to take home.

This workshop will be held at the McDonald Park Community Garden (Connecticut Avenue and McDonald Street, New London).  Onsite childcare provided! A donation of $5 would be most appreciated to support FRESH and off-set costs.
