Exciting News! Amazon Prime Days bargains have already started.
Mark
your calendars for July 16-17 because this year's Amazon Prime Days are set to
feature hundreds of thousands of deals! But guess what? You don't have to wait until July 16th to
start saving.
Early Prime Day deals are already live,
and there are fantastic bargains available for both Prime and non-Prime
members.
Many
of these products will be available at record-low prices for Amazon Prime
members, so make sure you're signed up to Amazon Prime if you want to score the BEST bargains (up to 50% off).
You can get a fee trial for 30 days …take advantage of the Prime deals and cancel
IF you want. However, DO consider Prime for year round savings …
many people think it is only about "free" shipping BUT there is much more.
You can access a library of over 3000 books, many of which are best sellers,
which would cost you $10+. Even if
you only read one book a month, you'd pay for your membership.
Then there are loads of movies, shows, music, podcasts, games, and more. By getting a yearly subscription, you can save even
more.
During Prime Days there are some additional Amazon "membership"
bargains:
What are the Best Amazon Prime Days Deals?
The best Prime Day
deals are on Amazon products. Amazon usually discounts these items to their
very lowest prices during Prime Day—even cheaper than Black Friday.
There are bargains with up to 50% off.
Some of the electronics deals are the best to be had year round!
This makes Prime
Days the perfect time to buy a Fire TV, Kindle, Echo Dot, Fire Tablet, and
more. If it has Amazon's name on it, it's probably a GREAT DEAL.
I've
been eyeing the Kindle Scribe for the past year, as the features keep getting
better and better. I'm waiting for Prime Days, but even the prices in the
lead-up are looking fabulous.
There are also
thousands of deals across Amazon's most popular categories, like TVs, laptops,
appliances, smart home tech, gaming, fashion, and more. These are likely to be
the best prices you'll see until Prime Day in October or Black Friday in
November.
Start
watching (and buying) now! You'll find the BEST prices if you're a PRIME
MEMBER. Plus, many other retailers lower their prices during Prime Days to take
advantage of the buying frenzy. So
even if you decide NOT to try the FREE 30-day trial, you WILL find bargains.
My Strategy for Prime Days:
- I have several regular
subscriptions on Amazon, delivered to my door monthly or every second or
third month. I check the prices on these
items to see if there are better deals during Prime Days.
Last year I lucked out and one of my regular monthly purchases was over 30% off. I stocked up on a 12 month supply because I had never seen a lower price!
- I have a long list of things
I want or am interested in, some of which may be gift items for birthdays
and Christmas.
I start going
through my lists up to two weeks before Prime Days (July 16-17). If a product I
want is an Amazon product (like the Kindle Scribe), I check prices in advance
but wait for July 16 to see if they drop even lower. This strategy has worked
in previous years, so it pays to wait and see.
The lowest prices you will see are on Amazon Brand Products.
I pretty much never
buy anything that's not on my list unless I see something that would make the
PERFECT gift at the PERFECT price.
I stick to my
list to avoid getting swept up in a buying frenzy, only to regret it later. I
KNOW you can return stuff, but it's just such a pain!
Most
of you know that I have very STRONG opinions that anyone who writes SHOULD be
an avid reader. IF you only get ONE
deal it should be a membership to Kindle
Unlimited. This is the first time I've seen them give away THREE free months!
Happy
Bargain Hunting!
