Today let’s talk about the law of expectation:
You rarely get more out of life than what you expect. The stream of life says you can get whatever you want from the stream depending on what you bring to the stream.
If you bring a teaspoon, you get a teaspoon of water.
If you bring a bucket, you get a bucket of water.
If you drive a water tanker to the stream, you get a tanker of water.
Most fail to succeed in their business (and life in general) because they’ve been programmed to expect a teaspoon of wealth when they have every right to expect a tanker of wealth.
How does the law of expectation apply to leadership?
Well, I’m glad you asked…
A good leader inspires people to have confidence in the leader. A great leader inspires people to have confidence in themself.
Great leadership comes from expecting tanker-size results from your people.
So the question then becomes:
"How do you manifest this tanker-sized expectation for yourself and others?"
The way to do this is to restructure your beliefs.
To condition yourself to expect more than what you've been expecting in your life. If you want the basics, it really comes down to focusing on that idea continuously throughout life.
Eventually, it becomes a habit and a belief that your subconscious mind lives by.
Do this and your beliefs will start to change.
