(Chorus devotion-centric repertoire of Master Composers) Cleveland Tyagaraja Festival on April 22nd (Monday), 2019 @ 8 am This Vocal-Instrumental Orchestral program aims to showcase Bhajana Marga krtis of various composers (Purandara Dasa, Arunagirinathar, Oottukkadu Venkata Kavi, Tyagaraja, Bhadrachala Ramadas etc) that are suited for chorus presentations.

This program is designed to enhance the ability of the participants to handle
different levels and genres of Carnatic compositions. It gives a great
opportunity for talented performers across North America at the Cleveland
Thyagaraja Festival under reputed Performers/Gurus from India & North
America on Monday, April 22 nd , 2019 at 8 AM.
Highlights Provides an opportunity to the participants to develop unique insights intosome of the greatest composers of Indian music. The nearly one hour show will feature Bhajana Marga Krtis of Master Composers in rare and popular ragas/talas that will enrich the students of all levels from Preliminary to Advanced as well as performers. - Gives an opportunity at one of the biggest festivals in the world, Cleveland Tyagaraja Festival.
- The participants will be ably guided through the learning process by popular performers and gurus such as Bhargavi, Vishaal, Anahita &Apoorva, Arun Kumar & Vanitha.
- Participants will be given specific parts by Mar 2019 to make it more colorful as opposed to typical Carnatic group concerts (where everyone renders everything in Chorus).
- Melody instrumentalists and percussionists will be assigned parts during the rehearsals in Cleveland, based on number of participants.
- Additional individual classes will also be scheduled if the gurus determine that they are warranted
Participation - Open to vocalists and instrumentalists of any age group at the varnam/krti level
- Exceptions will be made to gifted students at the Geetam level
- Open to all traditional and contemporary melody-percussion performing instruments
