We are all here on this earth for a purpose! For every one of us it is something special, something unique. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life had a purpose! And he stepped up and into his purpose with passion, perseverance, commitment, and determination. He put himself All In! He did what he was called to do and he lived his passion and purpose in such a way that it moved a nation. And his words and actions continue to inspire, motivate and move people and nations today!
Martin Luther King Jr. answered his call. He was called to serve! And serve he did! In one of his many letters he said this:
“I cannot sit idly by in Atlanta and not be concerned about what happens in Birmingham. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”– Letter from Birmingham Jail, 1963

Dr. King is a Powerful example of how one individual's Passion and Purpose inspired and moved a Nation - then and NOW! What he said in 1963 is as relevant today as it was back then. Perhaps it is even more relevant today!

Rumi, the ancient poet said this: "You can accomplish a hundred other things, but if you do not accomplish 'the one thing' for which you have been sent, it will be as if you have done nothing."
Friend, "There is 'one thing' in this world you must never forget to do. If you forget everything else and not this, there's nothing to worry about, but if you remember everything else and forget this, then you will have done nothing in your life.
It's as if a king has sent you to some country to do a task, and you perform a hundred other services, but not "the one" he sent you to do.
Friend, are you doing that "one thing"?
