Subject: what AI can and cannot do for you

I’ve been using a lot of AI lately…

And honestly, the amount of work I’ve been producing is nothing short of a miracle.

But more importantly, Friend, I didn’t just start using more AI. I started using it for the right things.

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re looking to make more sales, book more clients, generate more leads, or grow your audience.

Here’s the thing, used for the wrong things AI can damage your business more than it can help.

But used wisely, you can have one person perform the work of 10.

Seriously!

I just found out about a video editing company who reduced their workforce from 10 to 1 and is producing the same results.

Now, what are most people getting wrong when using AI in marketing?

They’re trying to replace themselves with AI to build an audience.

That’s the ONE thing they should be doing themselves!

→ Your voice and experiences are unique and will attract those who resonate with who you are.

↳ This is what makes someone choose YOU over anyone else.

→ Repetitive tasks and complex processes can be outsourced to AI or even a VA.

↳ This frees up so much time to focus on the previous part and serving clients.

So what I learned recently was to start using AI more, but use it less for whatever can build a connection with other people.

Even though I’d avoided AI for most content creation…

  • I don’t use it to write

  • I don’t use it to edit copy

  • I don’t use it to templatize

  • Etc.

I was using it to pick short clips from our podcast to share on our socials, for example.

When I started investing that time myself and outsourcing other tasks to AI, our YouTube channel exploded!

In line with these realizations, I have two needle movers for you today:

1. Our latest conversation with Renee Lynn Frojo who’s taking LinkedIn by storm while rowing against the current of the usual template advice.

With a background in journalism, she’s showing everyone how to spot their own story and share it in a way that attracts an audience of followers to her.

(Spoiler Alert: the first time she put a high ticket offer on LinkedIn it sold out in 2 weeks)

2. The latest issue of Dana Daskalova’s magazine (Solo Synapse) where she featured yours truly talking about inbound systems, which will do the lead gen for you.

Systems are another great way of freeing up your time and get scalable results.

TL;DR:

Anything that helps build a relationship with another human → do it yourself!

Everything else → get AI to do it, build systems, or outsource to someone else.

This is how I’m planning to take my business to the next goal.

Thanks for reading!

I hope you find those helpful!

Talk soon,

Fran

P.S.: If you want to learn how to build a lead generation inbound system yourself, stay tuned, I’m going to do something awesome soon and you’ll be the first to know.
