- While this is especially useful on large panels for easier rolling forces, it is also very beneficial for standard sized lift and slide doors. Some homeowners require a door that slides easier to open and close (to also reduce force to lift and lower the door, pair with FPL’s Lift & Slide Counterbalance Gear Mechanism)
Increased durability!
- Higher weight capabilities, increased durability means greater longevity than a plastic wheel as well as no danger of wheel degradation from harsh and extreme heat or cold conditions
Prevent installation issues from damaging the hardware! - If contractors install track by having an excess of concrete or mortar that would interfere with the travel of the wheel, plastic wheels may suffer damage and malfunction. Our stainless steel wheels are tough enough to endure this scenario. No need to replace the roller carriages due to an installation problem with the concrete or mortar.
