Dear Friends,
Wow, it’s almost Christmas, 2024! 56 Days, and it will be here!
For many of you, that means increased sewing and quilting to make gifts for relatives, friends, charity, or yourself. It can also mean you are in the market for a sewing machine (or embroidery machine, or serger) for a relative or friend. And it well could mean you intend to give yourself a gift of a new machine, especially a new longarm quilting machine. Likely you are thinking along this line about now.
There has been trend lately among quilt shops that they carry or have begun to carry multiple brands of sewing machines or longarms. You’re likely to find numerous models of Janome, Bernina, Singer, Brother, Juki, Baby Lock, and Handi Quilter.
Walk into a shop, and you are immediately fronted by any number of machines of different brands. In shops like that, it doesn’t take long conclude their main focus is to sell machines. Clearly their philosophy is totally retail focused.
From our point of view, that’s the other guys. That’s not us. We’re the longarm quilting education and Pro-Stitcher education people. Secondarily, we also sell sewing machines, but look how different we are from the others.
We did our research to find the best longarm quilting machines, which are Handi Quilters. We continually use ours in quilting both for ourselves and for the public. We know what to do if something goes wrong. We know how to use all the myriad features. We understand these machines so well that we absolutely stand behind them. If you need an expert on any aspect of Handi Quilter longarms, we’re the place. In every way we stand behind our machines.
We also did our research to find the best domestic (sewing), machines, and that’s why we became Baby Lock dealers. We understand thoroughly how to use these machines, from the least expensive beginners' level through numerous models with top-flight features and amazing engineering, and same thing with their top-level machines. We understand them so well that we are quite comfortable standing behind these.
We also stand by our customers. Unless the customer doesn’t agree to it, we generally insist they try any of our machines before they buy. We want to show them the machine features and show them how to use them. We want them to know what’s different between other levels of machines they might want to consider. We definitely won’t consider using high-pressure sales techniques. We want you to be able to buy the machines that best fulfill your needs and wants. We want you to take your time in deciding. We do not sell based on hype.
We also did our research to find out exactly how the other shops treat their business and their customers. Becoming too diverse with different machine brands, there is no way they can thoroughly understand and stand behind all of their machines. Nor are they able to give you the same kinds of deals Fox Country Quilts is able to give you.
Here’s a list of why we’re different. Why there are solid advantages to buying your machine from Fox Country Quilts:
Our first priority is our customers, not just the retail business of selling machines.
If you need something for your quilting or sewing projects that we don’t have, we can order and get it for you quite quickly.
There is no way we are going to sell you a longarm or any other machine, just to have you take it home and put in the closet because you don’t know how to run it. We don’t sell by hype.
We will fully support you in learning how to use your machine.
We will fully support you in mechanical issues you may run into with your machine.
We can nearly always give you quicker service on your machine than anyone else.
We will nearly always give you a better deal financially than anyone else.
When you buy a longarm from us, we set it up for you in your home free of charge. No set-up or installation fee. There will be no sudden hidden fees.
We make certain there are no advantages to buying your machine from California, Florida, or elsewhere. We aren’t the top shop in quantity, but we insist on remaining the top shop in quality and customer support.
What we don’t do:
Tell you what your machine will cost and then add various charges to it.
Set your machine up for you in your home and add a big set-up or installation fee or mileage fee.
Have your machine drop shipped to you and not follow up with you to either set it up for you or help you set it up.
Tell you we don't have a product you want and not offer to order it for you.
Take you on as a customer and then drop you.
Tell you we offer training and then don't offer you the training you need.
And of course, our shop is also a retreat! We have capacity for 10 retreaters. We do not have minimums. If only one or two of you want to stay with us, well, come on, you’re welcome here. Our prices are quite reasonable, and our facilities are quite nice. We also don’t do minimums on our classes. If only one person is here for a class, then that person gets the class. We don’t cancel.
