It's Summer time! It's getting hot and bright and well . . . such a great time to take a break from the outdoor heat and spend time indoors sewing, quilting, and embroidering!

We continue to add classes and events to inspire you to create new projects. There are also special sew-in days to help motivate you to finish both the old (UFOs) and new projects.

New in the shop:

Kimberbell - We have added a new option for machine embroidery! Fox Country Quilts is now certified to host Kimberbell Events, in-store and virtual. We are also adding Kimberbell products.

Lori Holt Fabric - We are gathering patterns and stocking fabrics from Riley Blake. We are now hosting sew-ins for blocks of the month, blocks of the week, and any other Lori Holt fun we can think of to do in-store and virtual.

Ready to spice up your feathers? Feathers make a great foundation for any quilting design. Adding swirling curls, meandering vines and filled spines add pizazz to this basic foundation. You'll learn to customize your feathers in your project and make them fit in everything from geometric designs to wrapping around corners.

Any longarm machine brand owners or soon-to-be owners are welcome!

Longarm Rental

Are you tired of paying to have someone else quilt your quilt tops for you? Rent time on our Handi Quilter longarm quilting machines. We have several longarm quilting machines in our Commerce, Texas Studio.

Machine rental must be scheduled ahead of time. There may be opportunities to quilt on short notice – just call us and see if one of our machines is available.

Dresden Plates are classic quilt blocks that make quite a statement when featured in quilts! In this Dresden Plate class, Debbie Gendusa selected fabrics to make a sunflower quilt that is sure to brighten up any day!

Summer is wonderful time to get some tops finished and quilted and start making fun items for the holidays! It's not so much fun to be stuck in the quilting room doing last minute finishes.
