Hello Friend!

Happy New Year!

Let's kick off the year with some wonderful quilting classes both modern and traditional!

The modern also known as Virtual or Online can be delivered via Zoom and you can remain in your own home and be social at the same time!

The traditional also known as face-to-face classes occurs in a classroom where you can get outside your home and socialize by sitting with others and keep a safe distance!

Look What's New in Virtual Training!

Each month, a fantastic educator will dive into an hour of longarm training. The next hour, we will enjoy the ever-so-popular show-and-tell and drawings for door prizes.

This is a great way to meet together, separately, receive some training and show off your quilts from the previous month!

Make one of America's best loved quilts! Using Eleanor Burns "famous fast quilting" methods, it is easy to sew strips of light and dark fabric around a center "hearth" square. Finish the handsome Log Cabin Quilt by quickly sewing blocks together. Learn the fast and easy way to add batting and backing fabric or try the simple "birthing" method that lets you get your quilt off the sewing table and onto your bed before nightfall.

A scrap quilt as cheerful and bright as a garden of flowers -- Nana's Garden! Written by Mackie, one of Quilt in a Day's favorite teachers, Nana's Garden is a beautiful way to keep memories alive with scraps of children's and grandchildren's clothing, or strips put aside from your favorite quilts. There are so many ways to personalize your Nana's Garden. Use photo transfers in background squares to make a quilt that's a real family heirloom!

Join Debbie Gendusa as she takes us on a stroll through the different ways to make this nice spring quilt!

Evoking memories of shared laughter and tears, of times both abundant and lean, few gifts are treasured more than a Friendship Quilt. Eleanor Burns wrote Friendship Quilt specifically to commemorate Quilt in a Day's 10th Anniversary and the friendships she's gathered throughout her life.

Day & Night Quilt

 with Debbie Gendusa

Braid in a day quilt picture

Day & Night will mystify, enchant, and entertain you! It is magical! No smoke and mirrors: the technique is just totally awesome! The pattern is made from strips! The illusion is created by using the acrylic template, included in the back of the book. Eleanor offers variations on making a quilt with two or three contrasting colors. By using 3 or 4 fabric strips the blocks take on a whole new look!

Join Debbie Gendusa and make this magical quilt!
