Whenever we talk about Indigenous people we can talk about their

connection with the land.


During the process of bringing agriculture to Canada, there was a problem

of having access to the land.


John A. McDonald needed to figure out a way to remove the Indians on

the land to make room for agriculture and the railway.

of this and a huge disconnection with the land had happened from
