‘Our Masculine Journey’ could be compared to an underground river.  Aware or not, each of us, as men, are on a mission to navigate that river. 

We see only two trees in the center of the Garden of Eden. In the same way, there are only two choices for our hearts as men on this journey. The choice between these two paths is inexpressibly crucial.

We’ve all chosen some version of the wrong trail at times — Plucking fruit from the wrong tree of, ‘Proving and Protecting’ ourselves before others. The times me we’ve done so, we've squarely placed the report card for our heart’s in the hands of other sinful, imperfect pretenders. (Is now a good time to take a moment to repent of the times we’ve done so?) 

Our only true hope of becoming a settled, solid, complete man is in recognizing our mistakes in choosing the wrong path — then returning to the long journey of ‘becoming’ with our True Father. To do so, we must choose the path of dangerously vulnerable heart-intimacy with our Heavenly Dad. From before the dawn of time He has meant for us to become THAT unique MAN. Even now, He perfectly sees WHO it is that we are truly meant to become.

Our One True Father is the ‘Keeper of our Masculine Soul.’ 

The ‘Tree of Masculinity’ which grows in us today, in the center of the garden of our hearts — IS the result of how we’ve handled our masculine question.  

Our one hope in turning to Jesus and saying, “Jesus, I invite You. Come into THIS part of my story. I need your life, HERE”
