River Section Highlight: Dame's Rocket
Right now, River Access Program members have the chance to experience the spring bloom of Dame's Rocket along Middle River banks. You can see a lot of these flowers by utilizing the RAP's take-out access at Mile Marker 20.1. Put-in at mile 22.1 for a float that takes about one hour, or you can put-in at mile marker 26.2 if you want a longer trip. You'll see flowers! To join the River Access Program, contact Kate at 540-609-8267, fomr.guenther@gmail.com.
