| Which Room is YOUR Secret "Garbage Can"? |
| Dear Friend
I don’t consider myself a messy person, but I have to confess; I could probably be more organized.
I don’t know about you, but most people have ONE area in their home that they’re not proud of. For me it’s my home-office.
My office space is right by the entrance, and everyone in the house has a tendency to tuck things in there and just close the door …rather than dealing with it. (You know; out of sight, out of mind…)
Jackets get piled on my office chair, my office-desk is never completely clear of paper and I sometimes have to search (all the way to the kitchen) to find a pen that works!
I keep tidying up my office space, just to find the mess there again, only a couple of days later. (It’s SO frustrating and it zaps me of energy!)
I’ve realized that it takes me a LOT energy and effort to always figure out what to do with stuff. That’s why things pile up and my office gets disorganized, and that’s why the counter-top in my living-space never stays clear of paper for more than 30 minutes.
