That's how many lives you helped FFGW save in 2019!

Your donations, your time spent transporting cats, caring for cats at the Leesburg PetSmart, helping us with events, and adopting - it all added up to 301 cats and kittens taken off the streets and out of kill shelters and placed by FFGW in loving homes last year.

Here's an easy way to start helping us in 2020!

Post a #ShelterValentine and help us earn a lifesaving grant award.

From Feb. 1 to Feb. 14, post a photo or video valentine on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, celebrating the love of your adopted pet with hashtag #ShelterValentine. 
Be sure to @mention both @FFGWSavesCats and @petcofoundation for the chance to win some great prizes (including a Petco gift card) and give us a chance at a lifesaving grant award from the Petco Foundation up to $10,000! The more #ShelterValentine posts that mention us, the more chances we have to earn lifesaving funds!  

A winner will be selected each day until the 14th, so enter often!

Peppermint Patty... aka LUNA!




She captured the attention of FFGW's intake team with her big green eyes...  it said that her name was Peppermint Patty, but one look at those eyes and her family named her Luna!




"She loves bird watching, kneeling/snuggling/following me everywhere & car rides to visit Grandmom & Granpop for long weekends. She LOVES giving her sisters head bumps/rubs & they love giving her a “bath”.She brings so much joy to our home & family!"

Looking for a new cat for your family? Have time to help with set up? Visit our monthly adoption fair in Reston at Just Cats Clinic or weekly at the Leesburg PetSmart. (Get pre-approved for adoption by filling out an adoption form online today.) VOLUNTEERS also needed for setup and tear down at Reston.
