You know Ziggy's story from our Year End mailing and Newsletter - Ziggy needed surgery to correct a chest deformity, and FFGW got her the specialist care she needed, with our resources being replenished by your generosity - so that we can say "yes" the next time there is a cat in need.
What you might not know, is that Ziggy came to FFGW from a rural shelter, along with her mom and siblings. |

You're not seeing double...
Ziggy's young Mom Daisy looks almost like her!
Cute kittens are adopted easily, but Momcats have a much more difficult time. Ziggy's siblings all found great homes, but of course Ziggy had to wait, until she recovered from her surgery.
So... it was just Ziggy and Daisy at their wonderful foster home. Waiting. |

| And then a wonderful family came to visit Ziggy, and asked who the other black and white cat was... and when they heard that Daisy was Ziggy's mom... they gave them both a forever home! |

We couldn't have written a more wonderful ending! It's been a rough and tragic year, and at times it has seemed like there was nothing good. But thanks to you, our volunteers, supporters, adopters and fans, we have had some great stories, in fact...
