With her gorgeous blue eyes and soft, fluffy fur, 9-week old Raine looks like a little angel. FFGW rescued her from a rural shelter and when she went to be spayed our veterinarian alerted us that something major was wrong with Raine's heart. We were able to get her into a cardiologist within days, and it was discovered that Raine has a birth defect. . . but the amazing news is that it can be fixed with surgery!
With that amazing news also came some bad news. The surgery to correct her heart defect will be in the $8,000 range.
This morning, we've already raised over $2700... but there's a long way to go. |
