Home. That's the Single Word that Describes FFGW's Mission
Home. That's What Your Donations Have Done
When the big tomcat came up to a volunteer in a parking lot, he spoke as clear as day the one word he had somehow learned - "Home."
It's unusual for an apparently feral old tomcat to be friendly. As if that wasn't enough, a big old tom who so clearly spoke such an important word charmed the volunteers who took him in, and charmed the couple who came to the adoption event looking for kittens - and left with Butch, a one-word tomcat.
Home.
That's the goal for every cat that comes into FFGW's care, even when they haven't mastered English. Home is the goal of every volunteer at FFGW. Home is what your donations to FFGW provide. Here are some stories of how you brought cats home in 2018.
|
| | Home...
Home is sometimes not a straight path, but when getting to home has unexpected twists and turns, your donations enable FFGW to still bring cats home.
A very contented Butch at Home
When FFGW takes in a cat, we pledge not only to find it a home, but to provide all necessary medical care. Sometimes, that's just a routine exam, vaccinations, spaying or neutering... but sometimes, a cat needs much more. Sometimes, we know that more than ordinary care is needed, and sometimes not, but it is our mission to always do our best to provide what is needed in the best interest of the cats in our care.
We can do this, as a result of your generous donations which give us the ability to handle unexpected costs - for cats like Herbert, and Gigi.
