| | 2020 Vision...
Last year was... difficult, to say the least. The tragedy of hundreds of thousands lost to the pandemic has been felt at every corner of society, and 2020 is certainly not a year that we will fondly look back upon. And yet, as many of us cast about looking for some bright spot, anything uplifting... there is at least this...
In 2019, FFGW adopted 301 cats to loving homes. In 2020, we found homes for 437! How could that happen?
It happened because of YOU - our volunteers, donors, supporters, and fans. More of you than ever opened your homes to foster cats, helped us devise a contact free adoption process, worked with adopters and our partner shelters to transport cats from our partner shelters to our partner vets, to fosters, and to adopters. When we could not keep our cats inside the Leesburg PetSmart Adoption Center, you made up for that loss of visibility by helping us spread the word that we were still here, and still adopting! When the cats were allowed to return but we could not hold adoption events, you helped us interface with adopters over the web and helped cats go home. (Regular adoption events are still suspended.)
We are humbled to share that two of our supporters/adopters who passed away remembered FFGW in their wills, giving us both the resources and the determination to keep doing all we can to improve the lives of cats at risk. We are honored to be the stewards who will carry forward the legacies of these special individuals.
It may not change the world, but it changes the world for each cat who wakes up every day in a warm, loving home.
Thank you for helping us navigate a challenging year. We do not know what 2021 will bring, but with your support, we're ready to take it on. |

| | | We Admit It - We've Been Home Too Long! Probably ate a bit too much... and binge-watched a few too many sappy shows... |
|
Especially the ones on that Christmas Channel where all the movies have the same plot, and everyone has a happy ending. (It's OK, we needed some sappy, happy endings too - and we won't tell, promise.)
We know what you're thinking, though - they're ok movies, but... not enough cats!
Well, maybe you should have been watching... |

|
She meets Pluto, a charming but reserved guy with a tragic past of his own. Thrown outside when HIS purrson passed away, Pluto is used to taking care of himself. Will he open his heart to a new love, and tell Sissy what they have in common?
Will he almost have a kiss with Sissy before her children Harriet and Marbles interrupt unexpectedly?
See Sissy's Trailer Here:
|
| | Sisters Dawn & Eva return to their small home town of Whiskerville after their parents pass away to close down their family's Cat Cafe. Will they rediscover their sisterly bonds, after they learn the importance of the cafe to the community? Will they hatch a plan to reinvent the cafe and save the town's Catnip Festival?
|
| I'm Pudding You First
Stanlee is an award-winning dessert chef in Purr City, who is wrapped up in his career.
He hardly has time for Stella, his sister, but when he wins a chance to compete in a big dessert competition, and his assistant falls ill, no one but Stella can help him. Can they repair their relationship?
Will Stella's tweak on the old family mice pudding recipe propel Stanlee to greatness?
All our actors and actresses are actual cats available for adoption - a simple click on their photos will connect you with their agents!
You can spread some love this holiday by donating to the Actors Guild FFGW at the link below. All donations go to the veterinary needs of the performers!
