For the past few years, white kitchens have been the rage. Everyone seemed to want to re-do their kitchen in white or light gray.
Some of those kitchens look fabulous. However, a white or gray kitchen is bad for wealth.
The kitchen is the room in the home that represents wealth. Both the kitchen and the wealth, prosperity and self-worth Feng Shui life area go with the wood element.
The wood element in Feng Shui doesn't mean a plank of wood, but the live tree. A live tree as part of a community of trees in a healthy forest is the best representation of the wood element and wealth. By the way, have you paid your tree karma? If not, go here.
White and gray represent the metal element. Metal cuts wood. This is why a mostly white or gray kitchen is bad for wealth.
A white or light gray kitchen is also inconvenient, as it shows the smallest speck of dirt.
I heard a well known designer say the other day that, fortunately, this trend is coming to an end. HOWEVER, what's coming to replace that trend is not necessarily better for wealth. I'll tell you about it next week.
