Friend,
If you search for the word "wealth" online you will see that most of the images that pop up are of people hoarding loads of cash.
This may surprise you, but how much money you make is no reflection on how wealthy you are.
Just think about the actors, singers and athletes that make lots of money every year, yet have to file for bankruptcy. Their problem is not lack of money, but their inability to handle money and to use money to grow their wealth.
Money and wealth are separate
I see many people, even teachers of other schools of Feng Shui, use the terms money and wealth interchangeably, as if they were synonyms. They are not.
Money is part of the career area, located in the center of the front of the home, and works with the water element. Water soaks and goes down, just like money.
The wealth corner is located at the back, left of the home, and it works with the wood element. Wood grows, straight or crooked, just like wealth can.
Money is a projection into the future.
Wealth is a consequence of past actions.
