Friend,
Years ago I had a booth at an event for natural and spiritual healers.
I was selling books and some crystals that are used as enhancements for the life areas in Feng Shui.
I had a set of very pretty faceted crystals, some of which were purple, and are used to enhance wealth.
The healers would come and pick it up and comment on how pretty it was and asked what it was used for. When I told them, they would gently put it down and say some version of this:
In Feng Shui there are nine life areas.
There’s a life area for spirituality (life area 6), and there’s a life area for family (life area 3). These life areas are separate from wealth (life area 4).
Only wealth is wealth
How about you?
Maybe you tell yourself that your religion is your wealth. Maybe you do this because deep down you feel possessing wealth is wrong and that even the desire to have wealth is wrong.
Or maybe you tell yourself that your family is your wealth. This could be true if you come from money (and there’s a trust or an inheritance that guarantees you won’t ever have to work). Your love for your family is a wonderful thing, but it isn’t wealth. They’re separate.
Wealth is about survival potential. The wealthier you are, the more likely it is that you can support yourself and your loved ones, and provide a good quality of life.
Wealth is a good thing, and it is about material possessions, but it also transcends that. Having lots of stuff is not enough to make a person wealthy.
