Friend,
When the Marie Kondo show first aired on Netflix, it overwhelmed sanitation workers in the US – they simply couldn’t keep up with the amount of stuff Americans were trashing.
While I imagine that there are people who have used the ConMarie method to declutter for good, I haven’t met any.
Everyone I know that got into her method took six months to a year to bring their clutter back to what it used to be – or worse.
This happens because decluttering and organizing a home is much more complex than asking “does this spark joy?” Furthermore, not everything that leaves your home needs to end in the trash.
Ever since I launched the Declutter for Good program (originally as an online course called Declutter from the Heart) I have seen amazing transformations in the homes and lives of participants.
Every time I relaunch the program, I revise the content and the offer to help more people declutter. I strive to include those people that may have been left behind.
Most people who have participated in the program and finished it have made great inroads in their housekeeping and home management.
However, there are some people who simply need daily help and guidance. They need someone to “hold their hand” and support them while they declutter.
For this reason this time around I’m adding something really special to the program: daily decluttering coaching from me for a whole month, with the chance of extending the coaching for more months, if you need it.
Now Does This Spark Joy?
