Friend, He's 18 today! The boy that made me a mama. He was the first passenger in the interdimensional portal that is my womb. It was -10 degrees the day he was born and +10 degrees the day we took him home. He was born in Davenport, IA. God has sent him snow on his 18th birthday to mark this moment. For the whole of December 2002 I cried with every single Christmas commercial because "the baby" was coming. My baby. I started this newsletter shortly after I started my business, in 1998 in the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Back then, I wasn't yet a mom. Many of the people still receiving this newsletter started following me before my children were born. If you are one of them, you kind of have seen my children grow. My first baby will be graduating from high school and in the fall he'll enroll in college to study pre-medicine, hopefully, not too far from home.
