Subject: Keeping chi in a room

Keeping chi...

...in a room

Friend,

There are a number of circumstances when chi simply escapes a room. A room that is depleted of chi also becomes stagnant.

It's hard to thrive in a room that has become depleted and stagnant. Without chi, people feel unmotivated and fatigued.

Here are some circumstances that make chi escape a room:

  • There's a staircase going down, with no door at the top of the stairs.

  • The door leading to the room is located at the end of a hallway, so that from the room you can see the whole length of the hallway.

  • The back wall has too many windows or glass doors (even if the view is awesome or you have a beautiful back yard).

In the example below you can see how your eyes are drawn to the hallway instead of staying in the room.

What to do

To keep chi in the room, you need a focal point, in other words, a chi attractor.

A chi attractor is an image that is attractive to a child. Images that are attractive to children either have images of animals, or bright colors and strong contrasts.

But not everybody likes bright colors, so in that case you use contrast. Below you can see a chi attractor that I recommend for people who love cool colors. Keep scrolling and you can see what a dramatic difference it makes.

By the way, right now in the Feng Shui Dream Home Creation Lab I'm helping students correct their hallways to improve their connections with others, and in a few weeks I'll help them make sure their staircases don't deplete the energy of their homes so they aren't fatigued. This includes my direct feedback on which the best chi correctors for their spaces are, during our weekly live critique sessions via zoon. Check out this fun group program here.

Unless you are working with a Nine Steps to Feng Shui® Consultant, get one of the images below to prevent your rooms from becoming depleted or stagnant. (If you try to choose an image on your own you may end up messing up another aspect of Feng Shui.)

Many Blessings,

Moni
