Friend,
I often talk about turning your home into a dream home. When you look around, do you believe that your place could become a dream home? Perhaps not.
Here's the deal, you will find your dream place at the intersection of where the physical limitations of the home and your desire meet.
Let me explain:
Your home is a certain size. If that size is too small for you, then you may desire to expand it. However, the type of construction and the size of the plot of land where your home sits will determine how much you can expand. Furthermore, your city or county will have regulations that determine how close you can get to the property border, or how high you can go. Still, working with your desire within the limitations the size of the home presents, you can turn your home around from a place that doesn't satisfy you, to a space you love and are proud to show.
Another example:
Your home was built in a certain way and with a certain style. An older home may have been built to have a separate kitchen and dining area, which are also separate from the living room. If you would like to have an open concept for the kitchen, dining and living areas, you may not be able to remove all the walls the way you would want, because they are supporting walls (part of structure). Still, working within the limitations of the unmovable walls, you can create a beautiful space that makes you feel connected and not left out when you prepare meals.
In The Love Your Home Journey, an online event that includes 2 zoom meetings and one free online course, we're going to explore the potential for your home to become a dream home.
The event starts next Tuesday. It's not too late to join. Go here...
