Today, I'm a very happy person. I love my life and my family.

However, there was a time when I felt very lonely and unsafe. Perhaps because of this, on every holiday, I can’t help think about the people who are feeling alone. 

On a day like today, I think of the mothers that are estranged from their children, and the women estranged from their mothers. I think about the women who weren’t able to become mothers, and the women who are desperately trying to become moms. I think of the moms whose children are deployed in war zones, and I think about the moms who are struggling to feed their kids. I think of the people whose mother has passed on, and the women whose children are no longer with them. And I send love to all.

Mothering is a natural instinct.
