It's not like that any more. With higher interest rates and skyrocketing home prices, moving has become inconvenient, if not prohibitive.

That's why many people today are looking at their current homes and trying to figure out how to modify them to meet their needs.

My Feng Shui clients are looking to expand, remodel, or even partition their current homes.

Some clients are adding rooms or turning attics into living spaces.

A few are modifying their half basements to turn them into independent small homes.

Garages and outdoor storage buildings are being converted into tiny homes.

Some folks are planning to rent out these spaces at Airbnb to make extra money. Others are offering them as homes to kids returning from college, or to aging parents or in-laws.

The world is changing, and with it, our expectations for moving.
