What does luck have to do with Feng Shui?

Someone recently asked me this question, and I was surprised. I had always assumed that everyone understood the connection between Feng Shui and luck. After all, the reason most people in East Asia turn to Feng Shui is to improve their luck!

Of course, Feng Shui also brings beauty, balance, and harmony into the home. But at its core, Feng Shui is about creating an environment that invites good fortune — what we call "earth luck" — into your life.

When you are luckier, things just flow more easily. It's like swimming downstream instead of against the current or sailing with the wind rather than fighting against it. Life becomes smoother, and opportunities seem to appear effortlessly. And who wouldn't want that?

So how can you become luckier?

From a Feng Shui perspective, luck isn’t about chance or randomness.
