Friend,
Last year, I nailed what the Water Tiger Year would be like – though I wish I hadn’t been right.
When I sat down to look at the energies of the year, I saw the dangers, but I hoped I was wrong.
All over the internet I saw people doing predictions that it would be a gentle, free flowing year – a year for healing.
I could see that people who made these predictions were using the Western water element, instead of the Eastern water element – they are very different.
One main characteristic of the Water element in the Eastern system is danger. And the Tiger, which represents the brute power of nature, also means danger, so the year would have the energy of double danger.
Though I stopped short of predicting a war (I didn’t want to be negative) I did talk about conflict and I even chose an image of a military tiger.
But my clients and students did great in the year of the Tiger. They understood the importance of creating harmony at home during such a convoluted year. Their dedication paid off!
The Rabbit is a very different animal from the Tiger. We’re going from an animal that is an apex predator, at the very top of the food chain, to an animal that is prey to many other animals.
Vulnerability is a key characteristic of the Rabbit, so it will be even more important to have good Feng Shui on your side!
I'll share my analysis of the Year of the Water Rabbit with you next week, so be on the lookout for it.
I’m also doing a free live I-Ching reading of the year of the Rabbit on Tuesday, January 17th at 5 PM. During this reading we’ll ask the best way to navigate the new year for all present. The responses of the I-Ching are uncanny!
