🏠 How Do You Celebrate Work?

Dear Friend,

During my time in Ecuador, a small South American country, we observed Labor Day on May 1st by taking the day off work. This holiday's origins date back to an event in Chicago that started on May 1st, 1886, and is now celebrated globally.

Upon moving to the United States, I was surprised to learn that May 1st was not recognized here, even though it was the birthplace of the holiday. Instead, the US observes a workers' holiday on the first Monday of September. While the world admires the American workers who fought for the 8-hour workday, the country altered the holiday's date. Talk about culture shock!

Similar to Labor Day, Feng Shui is interpreted differently depending on the country. Over the years, various cultural beliefs have become associated with Feng Shui. Some of these beliefs are beneficial, while others are not.

Going Back to the Roots of Feng Shui

The key to ensuring Feng Shui's effectiveness lies in reconnecting with its origins in ancient Chinese medicine. Just like acupuncture, therapeutic massage, herbal medicine, and QiGong, Feng Shui is rooted in traditional East Asian healing practices. However, the application of Feng Shui as a therapeutic practice faded away over time.

26 years ago, when I first became interested in this art, I couldn't find anyone to teach me an authentic form of Feng Shui that consistently yielded results.

All the schools that I looked into had beliefs and practices that had strayed away from the original teachings of Feng Shui. Many of these practices were superstitious, and others didn't translate well to Western culture.

So I studied about ancestral Chinese medicine with a mentor that belonged to a very old school of Asian healing arts. I learned about the nine principles of healing, and devised a method that would apply these principles to the health of a home and the happiness of its occupants. This is how the Nine Steps to Feng ShuiÂŽ System was born.

Celebrating My Work

Creating the Nine Steps to Feng ShuiÂŽ System was a lot of work. The initial process took five years, and then five more years of testing and refining. Until one day this method started producing dream homes every single time it was applied from beginning to end.

With the dream homes came happy lives and lots of reasons to celebrate!

The way I celebrate my work is by training Feng Shui consultants. I'm looking for people with whom to share my knowledge. Are you curious about Feng Shui Consultant Training? Get the details here.

Many Blessings,

Moni
