Friend,
Just like that, I'm the parent of two adults. To think that some of you started following me when I lived in Mississippi, before these kids were conceived. And some of you met me in Iowa, when I was 7 months pregnant with my first boy and I taught you an exercise to feel chi in your hands, and, coincidentally, all the papers that had been taped to the wall in that college classroom fell down! We sure laughed a lot that time!
Now my boys are grown, 18 and 21, and even though they both live with us in Tennessee, I'm already experiencing a bit of the empty nest syndrome, as their jobs, school and interests keep them away from home for longer hours. Remember I used to be a home-schooling mom.
I'm so glad I have Feng Shui to fill my time! As I move from full time mom to "on call" mom, I have more time, energy and focus to work with clients. Book a meeting by clicking the link at the bottom of this email if you would like to apply to get Feng Shui services from me.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Holiday Season!
By the way, here in the US there's disagreement as to whether you should say Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas.
But in Ecuador, where I was born and raised, we have always said "Felices Fiestas" â Happy Festivities, because we start partying some time in the first week of December and don't stop until the second week in January, so the term fits.
However you celebrate this season, I wish for all of you that you have many happy parties or many serene calm moments, depending on what you like to do this time of the year.
As you enter the holiday season, keep these thoughts in mind:
If you spend this time with people you love and who love you back, that's amazing.
If you spend this time visiting with folks that push your buttons and aggravate you, stay centered in your own heart and be patient until you can go back to your own beautiful home.
And if, for whatever reason, you're spending this time by yourself, know that I'll be thinking of all of you and I will send you lots of love and good vibes. You are not alone.
