This Friday, December 1st, is the deadline, so you don’t have much time left!
Here are three essential things to keep in mind while applying:

|
|
The application fee is $50, but you shouldn’t pay that. Contact your high school counselor and give them the fee waiver or have them go online to submit one for you.
|
|
|
|
|
Apply to multiple programs. The application will ask if you’d like to apply to a different major. The answer is always yes.
Applying to a second major at the U of I doesn’t hurt your chances of getting into the first. And if you don’t get into the second choice they’ll consider you for general admissions.
If you only apply to one major, they won’t consider you at all if you don’t get into that program.

Submit your official SAT Scores from the College Board. If you don’t send them your application won’t be considered and you’ll never be able to get in. Head to their site to find out how to do this.
