Have you ever thought about the way you think? It may sound bizarre but your habits of thinking affect your life. Metacognition and learning go hand-in-hand, so much so that there is widely used a hierarchy of thought processes called Bloom's Taxonomy. This heirarchy classifies cognition (thought) into lower order thinking skills (LOTs) and also higher order thinking skills (HOTs).
