The week leading up to your next exam, give yourself practice tests to work on your test-taking skills but most importantly to practice controlling your anxiety level by using this Anxiety Control Procedure:
1. Close your eyes. 2. Breathe in slowly to the count of seven and exhale to the count of seven. Continue this until you feel relaxed.
3. Open your eyes and give yourself positive self-talk (ex. "You got this! You studied hard. You’re doing the best you can.")
