As humans, we crave connections and interaction.
Even though social distancing is a requirement right now (for the greater good) it doesn't mean that we still can't CONNECT. We can still get human connection that will help us thrive and flourish. I wanted to personally invite you to hang out with us in the Fat Women of Color Collective. It's an our private (non-Facebook) online community that we created to provide sisterhood, sanctuary and support for Black and Brown women of size.
We are fat women of color from all over the globe coming together to help each other navigate the nuances of living as Black and Brown women, living in abundant bodies.
Because this community is online, you get all the benefits of connection from anywhere in the world through your phone, tablet, or desktop computer. Most importantly, you will have access to tools designed to help you thrive and flourish such as:
- Monthly Themes centered on the needs of fat women of color (self-preservation, body peace, mental health, weight-neutral wellness, womanism,sexuality, and MORE!)
- Video Chats that present the chance to interact with fellow members face to face through private Zoom sessions
- Group Coaching centered on topics that pertain to fat women of color
- Q&A with leaders in the fat activism, women's empowerment, and racial equality communities
- Discounts on all FWOC digital and live events, offerings, and merchandise
- Networking with members both global and in your local area
