It's OUR time to take up space and we want you to join us!
For the past year, Fat Women of Color™ has been a space for women of color who identify as fat to connect with other women like them online. Our Instagram page was the first step to uniting Black and Brown women of size together to talk and share in an online platform. Then we expanded to our private online community, that is a safe space to laugh, learn, and unpack some of the more challenging things about being a fat woman of color.
Now it's time to go LIVE!! We are having our very first live meetup in Washington D.C. on August 25, 2017 at 3 pm and we want you to come and bring other fat women of color too. This is a time to enjoy good food, conversation, connection, and even some gifts and prizes. Most importantly, we just want you to be able to RELAX and be yourself in our safe and fat positive space. We can't wait to meet you!!
