Dear Families,
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will occur that will be experienced in parts of the United States. A total solar eclipse is a rare event; the next total solar eclipse will not be visible in the U.S. for another twenty years. With a total solar eclipse, certain areas of Earth will be—during daylight hours—-shrouded in complete darkness for several minutes. In April, one specific area that will experience this complete darkness is Big Sandy, Texas, which will be in the eclipse’s path of totality!
We invite you to join us to experience this incredible display of God’s power and glory in creation. The event will occur on early Monday afternoon, right before the regular session of our Family Conference begins. But we have something even better to announce!
In recognition of this monumental celestial occasion, we are hosting a special Solar Eclipse Extension event on April 7–8. We are also excited that Spike Psarris of Creation Astronomy will be joining us for the solar eclipse and will also deliver one of the keynote sessions on Monday night. |
