Subject: Is this "copywriting" thing overrated?

As you may know, "copywriting" is the ability to use words to make people act.

It's used to make people click a link, sign up to a list, or
(my favorite one) buy something from you.

Just with the use of some words.

Personally, I invested a lot of money and time to get good at it.

Bought hundreds of books, consumed dozens of courses, hired a couple of
coaches, and even rewrote classic ads by hand to create a neuro imprint of
great salesmanship in my cerebral cortex...

Intense and probably a little over the top, I know.

But all the energy I put into it has resulted money in my bank account,
as an online business owner.

But...

As a newbie affiliate, mastering copywriting was a complete waste of time.

   [Now I use this instead]

Instead of spending hours trying to learn the craft and making nothing...

I could have been generating commissions pretty easily, without relying
on any copywriting at all.

How?

It's simple actually.

There's a method to use the copy the product vendor has written [it's known as collating]. It takes only minutes but it can boost your conversions instantly.

And no, I'm not talking about using their email swipes.

Everyone and their brother does that, so the effect is highly diluted.

I've shown this method to countless students and they're always excited because they save a lot of time (most of them are busy professionals and/or parents, so they can't spend more than 30 minutes a day).

This method combined with a proprietary traffic produces sales & commissions... Without all the hard work.
