I just wanted to remind you that the Schoolhouse Expo starts today, May 16. I'll be speaking at 1:00 p.m. EDT on "Get a Jump on College!" I know that many homeschool families look toward college with a certain amount of anxiety, but honestly-- it's not as scary as it seems.

Getting a jump start on college-- that is, earning college credits during the high school years-- can give your student a "college with training wheels" experience that can be a huge blessing. Not only that, a jump start can shave years off the college experience while saving thousands of dollars in tuition. (Really-- I'm not kidding!)

I hope you'll join me and the other speakers this week as we seek to shine lights along your homeschool path. There's so much encouragement in hearing from other families who have done what you're doing and can share what worked (and sometimes, what didn't!).
