Happy summer!

This is just a short newsletter to let you know that I've just shined up the website a bit, with some wonderful new resources, specials on sets and bundles, and free U.S. shipping for orders over $50.

A new article you might find helpful is "Learn to Teach with Charlotte Mason," and the FAQ that follows. I've learned so much from CM, and I'm still learning. I hope you'll check it out!

 We've added a few new books —
And finally, here is an article for you:
I wish you peace and joy in your homeschool day.

P. S. Model-Based Writing is back from the editor (I'm hoping it will be completed sometime this summer), but for now, there are a number of lessons in my SchoolhouseTeachers Classics-Based Writing Class. There are a lot of other classes for all ages at SchoolhouseTeachers, plus many other great resources. It's inexpensive, so even if you use only a few classes, it can be a good deal.

An odd request

I have a strange issue with my website. I made the links underlined to make them more visible, and the links look perfectly normal in my Safari and Chrome browsers, but when I look at the site on my iPad, the links are in a cursive script as you see in the image at left. I have no idea why.

If you have a moment, could you look at the literature page shown at left and see if the links are normal print or if they are cursive. If they are cursive, please let me know, and let me know what sort of browser or device you are using.  I need to figure this out!
Thank you!

Learn to teach with the Charlotte Mason books!
I've been reading on these for years—the wisdom and practicality of Miss Mason's methods is unsurpassed. I recommend them highly!

The DoingWhatMatters.com blog has been online since 2007, and has quite a few articles on teaching with a classical/Charlotte Mason focus. We moved it from a different address a couple of years ago, so are still updating and relinking articles. There's useful stuff, there, though, so I hope you'll find it interesting.
