Dear Friend,I hope you have been having a beautiful spring (or fall, if you are in the southern hemisphere), and that your school year is going well. In this week's blog post, I share a poem that speaks eloquently about the state of spring in our area. Perhaps you could think of poetry as a constructive alternative to complaining about the weather! I think you'll enjoy the poem, though.
We enjoyed meeting so many of you at the Great Homeschool Conferences and at MACHE in Maryland. There is one more GHC conference which will take place in California in June, so if you didn't make one of the first three, I hope you can make it to that one.
Now I'm looking forward to a major adventure — a trip to China for a homeschool conference with a bit of sightseeing. I would be grateful for your prayers for me, the expat ladies who are attending, and the conference in general during the two weeks I'll be gone (I leave on Mother's Day). If you have any travel trips for Asia, please feel free to share them!
If you have any questions or need to order something while I'm gone, Donald will be home and taking care of orders. I'll try to check email from China, but access will be quite limited so it may be a day or two before I get back with you. Feel free to write again if you think I've missed your email.
When I get back, I hope to track down the internet problem that has slowed everything to a crawl for the past few months. I've spent horrifying amounts of time on the phone with tech support this year, and am beginning to conclude that I need someone that sounds a lot scarier than I do to talk with them.
Grace and peace be with you as you learn and grow with your families.
Janice Campbell
