Subject: Day 4
Hi Friend,
I would call that a very good day of betting.
The only bet that didn't win was bet #2 and that was a £2 stake.
England did well today. This is the same team who beat them in the World Cup and it is the first time ever that England have won their opening game at the Euros. That's a crazy statistic.
The Austrian v North Macedonian turned out to be heartbreak for Macedonia with the late goals for Austria. We won the bet in the first half there with both sides scoring mid way through. Those odds were really good value.
The Netherlands made that difficult. 2-0 up and cruising. Within minutes 2-2 but they did well to win it late. Great start for them too.
I will continue to keep stakes relatively small for the first round of the groups which end Tuesday night.

ANALYSIS - SCOTLAND v CZECH REPUBLIC
Scotland take on the Czech Republic in a game at Hampden Park - this is perfect for them to be playing a fixture like this at home.
They met very recently in this very fixture in the UEFA Nations League, which Scotland ran out 1-0 winners. Coming into the match, Scotland have been in solid form recently with a string of wins and draws. Some of the opponents are of a very similar calibre if you compare them to the Czech Republic. Their form is patchy coming into the tournament. They also have not drawn an away game in international football since 2017.
I have only decided to stake £4 in this. I would like to watch both sides just to see if they are what I believe them to be. I think it will either be a 1-1 draw or a Scotland win. I know those aren't very body calls but the home ground advantage may be exactly what Scotland need to pull this off.
ANALYSIS - POLAND v SLOVAKIA
I have gone for a Polish win in this game against Slovakia. The game is being played in St Petersburg so it's a neutral venue for both of these nations.
Both teams come into the match in okay form. Poland will only be slightly happier than Slovakia. Poland have draw 3 of the last 5 and won the other two, while its 4 draw to 1 win for Slovakia. Neither side has lost.
I expect this to be a tight fixture and I think Poland will win. Poland have something that Slovakia don't and that is a striker in the form of Robert Lewandowsi. He is expect to perform at this tournament having recovered from an injury.
I think him leading the line for Poland will be a huge influence which is why I have picked them for a win. The bet that we went for was Poland win. If you want to add a small extra punt on the side for yourself, I would back 1-0 or 2-0 on the correct score market or just go for Poland win and under 2.5 goals.
ANALYIS - SPAIN v SWEDEN
This is a home game for Spain. The Spanish national side of now is not like the Spanish national side was saw in Euro 2008, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012. That multiple title winning side was very different from what they have now.
Don't get me wrong - they're still a fantastic side and full of quality players all over the pitch but I don't think they have the same standard of players.
Spain do have a superb record against Sweden at home and I do expect them to win this game. The bet I've gone for is Spain win and under 2.5 goals. I think due to the different side that they, they'll control the game and control possession but walk away with a 1-0/2-0 win. Spain come into the game in decent enough form. They've had wins and the odds draw here and there (0-0 v a tournament favourite in Portugal). We can't discount Sweden. They also come into the tournament off the back of 5 straight victories. I do think this will be a tight home win.
I would be quite surprised if Sweden gain anything from this fixture, especially with it being played in Sevilla. I did consider a very small cover bet on the correct score market at 1-1. If you want, put 50p on it.
ANALYSIS - ARGENTINA v CHILE
I've decided to include this one from the Copa America late on Monday night.
This game feels like a 1-0 or 1-1. I think Chile have quite an aged side so they will be laboured. I think they best they can get here is a 1-1 draw. I would be quite surprised if they win this. I lean more towards an Argentina victory than a draw. 1-0 or 1-1.
I'm sticking with small stakes again as this is the first game that both sides are playing in the competition.
If any other bets pop up I'll e-mail you!
Thank you
Kind Regards
John Anthony
