Subject: Day 3

Hi Friend,

Tragic scenes in the Denmark game for those that watched.. Christian Eriksen, one of the Danish players collapsed and required resuscitation via CPR on the field. He is okay which is excellent news but it was quite shocking to see.

The game continued after 2 hours medical emergency delay and unfortunately though a shock result, we lost our bets on that fixture. An incident like that unfortunately took a toll on the players and I was concerned about that bet immediately upon hearing that they would continue playing.

We did win all of our other bets though! Wales and Switzerland both finding the net at great odds. I did also say I had a feeling that the score would end 1-1. Anyone who read the 22 page PDF and took the Lukaku/Golden boot bet, we've got off to the perfect start with the Belgian striker bragging a brace for us! Our other pre-tournament bets are looking quite good in that respect with Italy and Belgium starting with a win.

ANALYSIS - ENGLAND v CROATIA

Croatia knocked England out of the 2018 World Cup. In the rematch a couple of years ago in the nations league, England came from behind to win at Wembley.

My only concern with this bet, is that I can't see the starting line up in advance. As long as the correct attacking players are selected and England don't play too defensive, they shouldn't have a problem winning this game. This Croatian side is probably passed its peak while the English side is very talented with more than enough youth and experience. The other opportunity for England comes in the form of this game being in front of a full crowd at Wembley.

Their record at home is excellent while Croatia are not good travellers. They've lost 6 of their last 9 away matches. I am going for two bets here again. England to win and England to win and Over 2.5+ goals.

The home ground factor is the decisive factor in this one for me. England didn't really make use of the qualifiers leading up to this tournament because they mostly used the second string players for the majority of the minutes. There is also doubt over whether Harry Maguire starts, If he doesn't England will immediately lose a bit of solidity from what is already not the best defense and goalkeeping department. Their attack is excellent and I think they need to play to these strengths rather than go the safe defensive route.

ANALYSIS - AUSTRIA v  NORTH MACEDONIA

This could be a tricky one for Austria. North Macedonia come into this tournament in some great form having one or two huge wins recently (away in Germany for example). There seems to be a fight in this side and I think they will give Austria a tough time. I'm going for a simple both teams to score here. I would like to watch them a bit more before knowing what we could bet in these markets in the second round of matches.

Austria come into this tournament in poor form. A loss and a draw in the friendlies this last week, though to be fair, they did face England at Wembley. Austria also only come into the tournament with 1 win in the last 5. Before this, they were on a strong run of wins

I believe this game could be 1-1. If not, Austria to break North Macedonian hearts with a 2-1 win.

ANALYSIS - NETHERLANDS v UKRAINE

Once again, the narrative is on the home ground advantage here. The Netherlands would find this a lot trickier if they weren't playing it in Amsterdam. This will be a huge advantage for them in what is always a tough game against East European opponents. The Netherlands are definitely not at full strength due to the lack of Virgil Van Dijk.

Their form that they showed when they did so well in the nations league was heavily down to his influence. Without him since, they've been a bit average with too many drawn results. The Ukraine come into the tournament in fine okay form too with wins against Northern Ireland and Cyrus. Before that it was 1-1 draws to Bahrain, Kazakhstan and Finland. Against any tougher oppnents they've perished.

What we have to look at here are the levels of the two teams - against any half decent opponents, Ukraine struggle. Netherlands are more than half decent with home ground advantage.

This should be a home win and I would be surprised if the Dutch don't score at least 2 goals. Apart from the one home win challenge bet, for those who are a bit more bet savvy in terms of navigating around the betting sites, I I would consider HT/FT Netherlands. I would consider over 0.5+ goals first half. I would also have a backup/outside bet of Netherlands to win & Both teams to score - that will get you decent odds. 2-1/2-0 or possibly as good as 3-1 for the Netherlands.

COPA AMERICA

This tournament starts late on Sunday night.

There are 3 fixtures - one on Sunday night at 10pm and then another at midnight and then 2am Monday morning.

There could be a bet on one of these games.

I will e-mail it out by latest 3pm in the afternoon but the likelihood is low only because we are more focused on the Euro and don't necessarily have to bet on every Copa game.

Thank You
Kind Regards
John Anthony
