20:00 - Euro 2020 Semi Final 1 - Italy vs Spain

Bet 1: To Qualify - Bet on Italy (1.81 on the Betfair Exchange)
Stake: £25

Bet 2: Cards over/under 3.5 - Bet over 3.5 cards (1.57 on the SPORTSBOOK)
Stake: £11

Bet 3: Cards over/under 4.5 - Bet over 4.5 cards (2.40 on the SPORTSBOOK)

The first semi finals at Wembley sees Italy take on Spain.

Italy have been sensational this tournament. In my pre-tournament write-up, they were my "dark horse" team but I didn't think that they would be this good and this comprehensive.

Spain started slowly but have improved as the tournament has gone on. They looked shy of goals early on but that also changed and they became free scoring, however what I will say is that I think that Spain have been sligthly fortunate overall.

Tonight you'll notice that I've gone for 4 different bets.

The first one is the biggest one and we're going for Italy to qualify. I can't see how/why they would lose to Spain based on every performance of this competition. That Italian defence is rock solid and if it gets breached, I can't see it happen more than once - if not 0 times. I spoke about that 4 (Donnarumma, Chiellini, Bonnucci, Jorginho) in the centre/heart of the team who keep is rock solid and calm.

Spain have looked defensively suspect at times and I think they'll be weary of the Italian threat and I think they may look to tighten this up.

I expect low scoring, I expect Italy to qualify and I expect it to be cagey - especially second half which is why i have gone for the cards bets.

Cards get wiped out for the semi finals so nobody is in danger of missing the final.

You'll notice that the "cards" bets are on the sportsbook. You can also find them on the exchange but you'll have to wait a few hours for the odds to settle in those over 3.5 and over 4.5 cards markets.
